Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 October 2026

1. Identity and applicability

SN Consultancy, registered in the Netherlands with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99562456, provides independent consulting, advisory and, where agreed, specialist support services. Contact: info@sn-consultancy.nl . These terms apply to all quotations and engagements of SN Consultancy unless otherwise agreed in writing. General terms of the client do not apply unless expressly accepted in writing. Mandatory consumer rights prevail where applicable.

2. Quotations and formation of the agreement

Website content and initial inquiries are informational and do not constitute a binding offer. All services are tailored; fees are discussed in advance and set out in a written quotation, which is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An engagement is formed only when both parties have accepted the scope, responsibilities, deliverables, fees, timeline and these terms in writing (email included). SN Consultancy may decline work that falls outside its expertise, geographic capability or legal permissions.

3. Performance and professional scope

SN Consultancy performs the agreed services with reasonable care and skill. This is an obligation of effort, not of result. Advice is based on the information provided by the client and the agreed scope. Tax and legal outcomes may depend on changing laws and facts; no specific business, regulatory, tax or legal result is guaranteed. Regulated legal representation or other reserved services are undertaken only where properly authorized, or referred to appropriately qualified professionals.

4. Obligations of the client

The client provides complete, accurate and timely information and informs SN Consultancy promptly of facts that may affect the assignment. The client remains responsible for decisions taken on the basis of the advice. Delays or extra work caused by incomplete or late information may affect the timeline and fees.

5. Specialist engagements

If a specialist is engaged for an assignment, project or ongoing support, a separate agreement will identify the contracting parties, the working arrangement, scope, supervision, duration, fees and responsibilities. Any staffing, registration or work-authorization requirements are reviewed before the engagement begins.

6. Fees and payment

Fees are agreed in advance and stated in the accepted quotation or service agreement, either as a fixed fee, an hourly rate or a combination, including any expenses. Quotations for business clients are exclusive of VAT; prices for consumers include VAT where applicable. SN Consultancy may ask for an advance payment before work begins. Invoices are paid by bank transfer within 14 days of the invoice date, unless another term is agreed, quoting the invoice reference. Bank charges for international transfers are borne by the client unless agreed otherwise. If an invoice is not paid on time, SN Consultancy may send a reminder and, after a reasonable period, suspend the work. Statutory interest and collection costs may be charged as permitted by law.

7. Changes and additional work

Changes to the agreed scope, schedule or deliverables require mutual approval. Additional work is carried out only after the client has agreed to the related fee.

8. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refunds are governed by the Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy on this page and by the engagement agreement. Statutory consumer rights are not limited.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties treat non-public information received in connection with the engagement as confidential, unless disclosure is required by law or agreed in writing. This obligation continues after the engagement has ended.

10. Intellectual property

SN Consultancy retains the rights to its own methods, templates and pre-existing materials. Upon full payment, the client may use the deliverables prepared for the engagement for its own purposes. Deliverables may not be published or shared with third parties for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

11. Liability

Any liability of SN Consultancy is limited to the amount of fees paid for the engagement to which the claim relates, unless the engagement agreement provides otherwise. This limitation does not apply in the case of intent or gross negligence, and does not affect mandatory consumer protection. Claims must be submitted in writing within a reasonable period after the client discovered or should reasonably have discovered the damage.

12. Complaints

Complaints about the services can be submitted to info@sn-consultancy.nl . We confirm receipt and aim to respond substantively within 14 days.

13. Governing law and disputes

Agreements with business clients are governed by Dutch law, and disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. Consumers retain the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence and may also bring proceedings there. Parties will first try to resolve any dispute through consultation.
